Close your Ekub account
Ekub is an app by Nivaro for running rotating savings groups. You can close your account in the app (Profile → Close account) or here, with a code we send to your phone by SMS.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in and your profile (your name and phone number on your account).
- Your access to every group. Drafts you created are cancelled, and their invite codes stop working.
What is kept, and why
- Each group's shared history (your name, payments recorded for you, payouts, approvals and activity) stays with that group, because the other members rely on it. In groups that are still running you become an offline member, and an admin records your payments.
- The phone number an admin entered for you stays with that group, visible only to its admins.
If you are the admin of a running group, make another member its admin first, from the group's Members tab in the app. They must have joined with the app; you can add an offline member's phone number so they can join. If nobody else in the group uses the app, the group is frozen instead: its records are kept and nothing more can be recorded. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
